2. This writ petition seeks expeditious disposal of an application under Section 14 of the Securitization and Reconstruction of Financial Assets and Enforcement of Security Interest Act, 2002 pending before the learned District Magistrate at Howrah since August 06, 2025.
3. The State respondents are represented.
4. Having heard the learned advocates appearing for the petitioner and the State and having considered the material on record, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the learned District Magistrate at Howrah to dispose of the petitioner’s application under Section 14 of the 2002 Act as expeditiously as possible, and preferably within a period of one month from the date of communication of this order in accordance with law.

5. Accordingly, WPA 23270 of 2026 stands disposed of. No Costs.
6. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties subject to compliance with all requisite formalities.
