This writ petition has been filed seeking expeditious disposal of an application under Section 14 of the Securitization and Reconstruction of Financial Assets and Enforcement of Security Interest Act, 2002. The application has been filed in March, 2026. 3. Mr. Sengupta, learned advocate appearing for the State respondent submits that the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate is paying due attention to the applications under Section 14. However, since the volume of Section 14 applications has upsurged therefore, a little more time is being taken by the authorities. 4. Having heard the learned advocates appearing for the respective parties and having considered the 2 material on record, this writ petition is disposed of by requesting the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate at Barrackpore to dispose of the petitioner’s application under Section 14 of the 2002 Act as expeditiously as the business of the said Court would permit. 5. Accordingly, WPA 23183 of 2026 stands disposed of. No Costs. 6.
