The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is the VUDA Colony Residents' Welfare Association, VUDA Colony, represented by its authorised signatory, Sri Pappula Ravi Kumar. The present writ petition has been filed challenging the action of respondent No. 2 in laying a road by demolishing the compound wall on the southern side of the petitioner's colony without issuing any prior notice. 2. This Court, by order dated 25.03.2021, upon considering the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner, granted an interim direction staying the further process of laying the road on the southern side of the compound wall of the VUDA Colony until the next date of hearing. Thereafter, the matter has been listed today for further consideration. 3. The learned Standing Counsel appearing for respondent Nos. 2 and 3 submits that the proposed road is required for a public purpose. 4. Considering the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned standing counsel for the respondent Nos.2 and 3 and upon considering the material on record, the compound wall of the petitioner’s colony has been demolished, this Court is of the view that, if any portion of the petitioner's property is required for a public purpose, respondent No. 2 shall proceed strictly in accordance with the procedure established by law. It is also made clear to the respondents 4 follow due process of law in the event the property of the petitioner is required for public purposes. 5. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed off. There shall be no order as to costs.
