Further a writ of mandamus has been sought, directing the official respondents to prepare a fresh seniority list by keeping in view The Punjab Civil Services (General and Common Conditions of Services) Rules, 1994 and to consider the petitioners for promotion from back date to the post of Sub-Station Attendant (SSA) as juniors to them have already been promoted.
