Item- A-1. sg 07-09-2026 Ct. 6 CO 2715 of 2026 Pankaj Kumar Sinha Versus Chanda Sinha @ Chanda Gond Mr. Mohammad Khairul Sk. Shabibur Ullah …for the petitioner This application under Article 227 of the Constitution of India is at the instance of the husband and is directed against an order dated 4th June, 2026 passed by the learned Additional District Judge, 2nd Court, Barrakcpore, North 24 Parganas in Misc. Case No. 1 of 2023. By the impugned order, the application under Section 24 of the Hindu Marriage Act filed by the wife/opposite party was disposed of by directing the petitioner to pay a sum of Rs.5000/- per month towards alimony pendete lite. The learned trial judge, after noting that the wife/opposite party claimed that the petitioner is earning Rs.50,000/- as monthly salary and such fact has not been denied by the husband, fixed a sum of Rs.5000/- per month as alimony pendente lite for the wife/opposite party herein. Considering the quantum of alimony pendete lite fixed by the learned trial judge and the reasons assigned in support thereof, this Court is not inclined to interfere with the order passed by the learned trial judge, in exercise of power under Article 227 of the Constitution of India. This civil revisional application stands dismissed. 2 However, there shall be no order as to costs. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all requisites formalities. (Hiranmay Bhattacharyya, J.)
