This contempt case is filed alleging willful disobedience of the order dated 22.09.2025 passed in W.P.No.6387/2022. The claim of the petitioner was for reservation in promotion for 'Persons with Benchmark Disabilities' under the provisions of the Right of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016, in terms of the judgment of the Supreme Court in the case of UNION OF INDIA AND ANOTHER vs NATIONAL FEDERATION OF THE BLIND AND ANOTHER1. 2. After noticing that the State Administrative Tribunal ought to have directed the Competent Authority to consider the petitioner's representation in accordance with law and setting aside the order dated 20.12.2021 passed by the Karnataka State Administrative Tribunal, Bengaluru, the Respondent - Authorities were directed to 1 (2013) 10 SCC 2021 - 4 - HC-KAR CNR: KAHC010174962026 NC: 2026:KHC:47861-DB CCC No. 297 of 2026 consider the representation dated 06.11.2021. A representation dated 30.10.2025 was sent to the respondents. 3. Learned AGA has filed an Affidavit of Sri.Raghunandan Murthy, Commissioner of Treasuries, Bengaluru, which reflects that the representation of the petitioner/complainant was rejected by means of the Endorsement dated 18.03.2026. In our considered opinion, the order of the Writ Court has been complied with. It is for the complainant to seek appropriate remedy, if so advised, against the order dated 18.03.2026.
