An inspection report has been filed on behalf of the respondent WBSESCL Authorities. The same is taken on record. 2. The inspection report reveals that the job of providing electricity connection to the submersible pump of the petitioner would be taken up after approximately 120 days subject to availability of proper way-leave permission from the concerned land owners/farmers; there being no resistance or obstruction from the local farmers during execution of the work and the site being physically accessable and suitable for execution of the required electrical work at the relevant time. 3. Mr. Nayak, learned Advocate appearing for the WBSEDCL Authorities refers to the report to demonstrate that 19 L.T. poles and 710 meters of cable would be required for the purpose of effecting electricity supply to the 2 petitioner’s submersible pump and that the same would be done upon the offset of the monsoon season. 4. Mr. Nayak further submits that the connection can only be provided if resistance is not raised and the WBSEDCL Authorities are provided free passage. 5. Mr. Halder, learned Advocate appearing for the petitioner invites the attention of this Court to the inspection report and submits that the main objector i.e. Netai Ghosh has appended his signature to the inspection report and has thereby withdrawn his objection and as such there would be no objection. 6. Since WBSEDCL Authorities is in principle, agreeable to effect electricity supply to the petitioner and the petitioner has submitted that there would be no objection on the part of the objectors and there would be free passage, therefore this writ petition is disposed of by directing the WBSEDCL Authorities to effect electricity supply to the petitioner’s submersible pump as indicated in the report preferably within four weeks after expiry of 120 days from the date of the report and upon the petitioner providing free way for them to execute the job in accordance with 3 law, subject to compliance with all other formalities, if any . 7. With the aforesaid observations, WPA 10404 of 2025 stands disposed of. No costs. 8. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties subject to compliance with all requisite formalities. ( Om Narayan Rai, J. )
