Mr. Diptomoy Talukdar Mr. Rahul Mukherjee ….. for the petitioner Mr. Lokenath Chatterjee Ms. Sneha Chatterjee ….. for the State 1. Let supplementary affidavit on behalf of the petitioner, as filed in Court, be kept on record. 2. The petitioner is aggrieved that his application for compassionate appointment has not been considered for a rather long period of time. It appears that the first application was made sometime in July, 2016 and successive applications thereafter have also not been considered. He had approached the Hon’ble High Court of Jharkhand at Ranchi by way of a writ petition which was dismissed on account of lack of territorial jurisdiction. 3. This writ petition has been filed thereafter. 4. Since the application of the petitioner has not been considered by the authorities, I direct the respondent authorities to consider his application within a period of ten weeks from the date of communication of this order. 2 5. In view of the aforestated direction, the writ petition is disposed of. 6. There will be no order as to costs. 7. All parties to act on the server copy of this order, duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. (Reetobroto Kumar Mitra, J.)
