Mr. Gouranga Kumar Das, learned Additional Public Prosecutor along with Mr. Sankalpa Bhattacharjee, learned advocate, appears on behalf of the State. Their appointment may be regularized by the concerned authorities. Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has been falsely foisted with the present case. Learned advocate for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail and submits that recovery was from the house of the present petitioner. 2 Having considered that 723 grams of heroin was recovered from the house of the present petitioner, I am of the opinion that this is not a fit case for granting anticipatory bail. As such, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner in CRM(A)859 of 2026 is dismissed. Memo of Evidence submitted by the State be kept with the record. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
