The parties are represented by their respective learned counsel. 2. At the time of hearing, learned advocate appearing on behalf of the writ petitioner places two letters dated 20.08.2026, as claimed to have been issued by the writ petitioner, which are taken on record. 3. It is submitted that by issuing the said two letters dated 20.08.2026, the writ petitioner has requested the learned advocate on record of the writ petitioner to withdraw the instant writ petitions since the dispute between the parties 2 have been settled with the intervention of the common friends. 4. In view of such, WPA 2936 of 1996 and WPA 6316 of 1996 stand hereby withdrawn and are disposed of. 5. With the withdrawal of the instant two writ petitions all pending interlocutory applications are also disposed of. 6. Interim orders, if there be any, stand hereby vacated. 7.
