By way of the present petition, the petitioner has called in question the inaction of the respondent authorities in not completing the demarcation proceedings in respect of the petitioner’s land bearing Khasra Nos. 2050/58 and 2050/59, situated at Mouza Mopka, Patwari Halka No. 29, Tahsil Bilaspur, District Bilaspur (C.G.), despite the order/memorandum dated 10.04.2026 passed by the Tehsildar, Bilaspur, whereby the concerned Revenue Inspector and Patwari were directed to conduct the demarcation proceedings and submit the Panchanama, spot map and relevant revenue records on or before 28.04.2026. It is submitted that despite expiry of the stipulated period, the requisite demarcation proceedings and consequential documents have not been completed/submitted by the concerned authorities. The petitioner is seeking the following reliefs:- “10.1 Issue an appropriate writ, order or direction directing the respondent authorities, particularly respondent Nos. 4 and 5, to forthwith complete the demarcation proceedings in respect of the petitioner’s land bearing Khasra Nos. 2050/58 and 2050/59, situated at Mouza Mopka, Patwari Halka No. 29, Tahsil Bilaspur, District Bilaspur, in accordance with law and pursuant to the order/memorandum dated 10.04.2026 passed by the Tehsildar, Bilaspur; 10.2 Direct the respondent authorities to conduct the demarcation and prepare the Panchanama, Nazri 3 Naksha, demarcation map and relevant revenue records, and submit the same before the Tehsildar, Bilaspur, within a time-bound period as may be fixed by this Hon’ble Court. 10.3 Grant any other relief which this Hon’ble Court may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case.” 2. He further submits that the concerned authorities shall verify the factual position and, in case the demarcation has already been carried out, the petitioner shall be provided with a copy of the demarcation report and other relevant documents in accordance with law. 4. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the Collector, Bilaspur (C.G.), as well as the Tehsildar, Bilaspur (C.G.), to enquire into the matter and ascertain the present status of the demarcation proceedings.
