The grievance of the writ petitioner is that her application for grant of electricity connection marked annexure P 2 to the writ application is pending for consideration. 3. In the facts and circumstances, no fruitful purpose will be served by keeping the writ application pending and directing respondents to file affidavits. 4. Thus this writ application stands disposed of by directing the respondent No.2, the Assistant Engineer, Electricity Daprtment, Chouldari, Ferrargunj Tehsil to consider and decide the application made by the writ petitioner marked at annexure P2 to the writ application within a period of six weeks from the date communication of this order upon giving the writ petitioner and her learned advocate an opportunity of being heard. 5.
