A PARAMANIK Advocate for the Respondent : PP, ASSAM, Page No.# 2/2 BEFORE HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE PARTHIVJYOTI SAIKIA ORDER Date : 01.04.2026 Heard Mr. A Paramanik, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners. Also heard Mr. K. Baishya, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, Assam. By this application filed under Section 483 of the BNSS, 2023 the petitioners, namely, (1) Babul Ali, (2) Hikmat Ali and (3) Nur Islam have prayed for release on bail, who are in custody in connection with Hatigaon P.S. Case No. 52/2026. The petitioners were found selling teer tickets. They have already spent 10 (ten) days in judicial custody. I have given my anxious consideration to the submission of the learned counsel for both sides. This Court is of the opinion that the petitioners do not deserve to be detained in custody any longer. Hence, the prayer for bail of the petitioners is allowed. Accordingly, it is hereby directed that the petitioners, namely, (1) Babul Ali, (2) Hikmat Ali and (3) Nur Islam, who were arrested in connection with Hatigaon P.S. Case No. 52/2026 are allowed to go on bail of Rs.20,000/- each with one surety of like amount to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Kamrup (M), Guwahati. The bail application is disposed of. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
