The petitioners, above-named who are in custody in connection with Jagarnathpur [Ranchi] P.S. Case No. 242 of 2025 for the offence registered under Sections 126(2) / 115(2) / 117(2)/ 118(1)(2)/ 125(a)(b)/ 109/ 303 (2)/ 3(5) of B.N.S., 2023 have prayed for regular bail. Earlier a show cause was issued by this Court to Dr. Shishir Kumar Vinayak, Medical Officer, Sadar, Ranchi, who had issued injury report of injured- Gaurav Singh after his examination on 14.06.2025 and found the following injuries :- A lacerated wound over head Parietal region 1) 4 inch x 1/4cm x 1/4cm Occipital region 2) 1½ inch X ¼ cm x ¼ cm. Lacerated wound over head 1½ cm X ¼ cm X ¼ cm ; Bruise wound on right side of chest -5 X 2 cm Multiple bruise wound over back Abrasion wound on both knee- 3cm x 3 cm. Opinion was reserved by the examining Doctor awaiting C.T. Scan report. After the C.T. Scan report was received and no fracture was found. Injuries were opined to be simple in nature. As per the show cause, the final injury report was not issued by this Doctor. 2026:JHHC:2019 2 In this view of the matter, the show cause submitted by Dr. Shishir Kumar Vinayak is accepted. It is submitted by the learned counsel on behalf of petitioners that the matter involves case and counter-case and it was the informant –party who were aggressors as they had come to the house of the petitioners. Further all the injuries have been opined to be simple in nature save and except one Prabhunath Singh who had sustained grievous injury. It is further submitted that the petitioners are in custody for more than six months and there is no criminal antecedent as against them. Learned A.P.P. opposed the prayer for bail. Under the circumstances, the above-named petitioners are directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Twenty-Five Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Court below.
