Moumita Dhara (Das) Mr. Soujanyo Pattanayak Mr. Arkaprabho Roy Mr. Debrup Chowdhury Mr. Anish Roy ….for the petitioner This application under Article 227 of the Constitution of India is at the instance of the husband praying for a direction upon the learned Judge, Family Court at Tamluk, Purba Medinipur to dispose of the Matrimonial Suit No.1175 of 2021 expeditiously. The learned advocate appearing for the petitioners submits that till date the issues have not yet been framed. From the order sheets appended to this application, this Court finds that December 22, 2026 has been fixed for framing of issues. In view of the order sought and proposed to be passed there is no necessity to direct issuance of any notice upon the opposite party. However, the learned advocate for the petitioner shall be obliged to forward a copy of this application along with this order upon the opposite party or the learned advocate representing the opposite party before the learned trial judge. In the light of the submissions made by the learned advocate for the petitioner, CO 2948 of 2026 stands disposed of by requesting the learned Judge, Family Court 2 at Tamluk, Purba Medinipur to make an endeavour to dispose of the Matrimonial Suit No.1175 of 2021 as expeditiously as possible without granting any unnecessary adjournments to either of the parties provided that the husband/petitioner is not in default in payment of alimony pendente lite or maintenance.
