This petition is filed by wife for transfer of petition in MC No.36/2025 pending on the file of the Senior Civil Judge and JMFC, Kanakapura, to the Principal Judge Family Court, Bengaluru. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is residing in Bangalore along with her mother and son. They have two children, one is aged 20 years and other one is aged 18 years, respectively. One son is with her at Bangalore and the other one is at Mangalore pursing education. She is not working and earning. She filed Crl.Misc.No.208/2021 claiming maintenance and against interim order of the maintenance they preferred Crl.Appeal.No.967/2023 and it is pending before the concerned court. - 3 - HC-KAR CNR: KAHC010076082026 NC: 2026:KHC:47888 CP No. 48 of 2026 3. It is stated that the petitioner is having health issues and her medical record is filed. As per the recent medical record dated 09.07.2026, she has reduced muscle strength and it is stated by the counsel that she has to walk with support. The distance between Kanakapura and Bangalore is 60 kms and as petitioner is suffering from health issues, she cannot walk independently. It is difficult for her to travel all the way to attend court at Kanakapur. Therefore, this court finds it is just and reasonable to transfer this matter from Senior Civil Judge and JMFC, Kanakapura to the Principal Judge Family Court, Bengaluru.
