… Petitioner(s)
Mr. Biswajit Hazra Mr. Archisman Sain
… for the petitioner(s)
Mr. Sayak Chakraborty Mr. Amal Kumar Datta Ms. Supriti Sarkhel
… for the State-respondent(s)
Learned advocate for the petitioner submits that the accusation is against another individual and the petitioner has been falsely implicated in connection with the instant case. There are no materials to suggest the complicity of the present petitioner and, inspite of the same, the police authorities are chasing him. Learned advocate for the State submits that there are CDR which would reflect the communication between the present petitioner and the accused against whom there has been allegation of fleeing away after receiving the money.
2 It has been additionally submitted that so far as the present petitioner is concerned, he has been involved with similar offence in connection with Labpur PS Case No. 147 of
2026. Having considered the antecedent of the present petitioner, I am of the opinion that this is not a fit case for granting anticipatory bail to the present petitioner. Hence, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is Rejected. Accordingly, CRM (A) 2916 of 2026 is dismissed. Memo of evidence submitted be kept with the record. Parties to act on a server copy of this order duly collected from the official website of the Hon’ble High Court, Calcutta.
