The petitioner, by filing this writ petition, has challenged the appointment of the respondent no. 6 as Non-Official Marriage Officer under the provisions of West Bengal Special Marriage Rules, 2010. It appears from the records of the writ petition that the notification, whereby the appointment of the petitioner was made, has not been annexed. 3. Under such circumstances, the petitioner wants to withdraw this writ petition with liberty to file a fresh writ petition on the self-same cause of action. 4. The writ petition stands dismissed as withdrawn. However, such dismissal shall not preclude the petitioner from filing a fresh writ petition on the self- same cause of action.
