In this case, the petitioner is seeking regular bail in connection with Chowk (Patna City) P.S. Case No. 405 of 2024, registered for the offences punishable under Section 376 of IPC and Sections 4 and 6 of POCSO Act. 3. The informant stated in her fard beyan that the petitioner continuously subjected her minor daughter to sexual exploitation and committed rape for the past eight months. 4. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.64322 of 2025(6) dt.19-01-2026 2/2 implicated. As a matter of fact, there was love and affection between the victim and the petitioner. 5. On the other hand, the learned counsel for the informant has opposed the prayer for bail by submitting that the victim’s age is 14 years and 6 months and she fully corroborated the allegation in her statement under Section 183 of the BNSS. He has also submitted that charges have recently been framed and the trial is going on. 6. Considering the above-mentioned facts and circumstances, in my view, the petitioner doesn’t deserve the privileges for regular bail. Accordingly, it is rejected. kundan/- (Nawneet Kumar Pandey, J) U T
