Petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking following reliefs:- ALFIZA BAIG Digitally signed by ALFIZA BAIG Date: 2026.04.07 18:39:44 +0530 2 / 3 ‘10.1 That the Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondents to correct the subject of the petitioner from Hindi to Mathematics, in the interest of justice. 10.2 That this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondents to grant all the consequential benefits including correction of promotion, seniority and service benefits. 10.3 That, any other relief/order which may deem fit and just in the facts and circumstances of the case including award of the costs of the petition may be given.” 2. Learned Counsel for petitioner submits that when gradation list was published in the year 2024 she came to know that the her subject is erroneously mentioned as Hindi instead of Mathematics. Petitioner has earlier submitted a representation before the respondent authorities but the same has not been considered and decided till now. She submits that she may be permitted to submit fresh comprehensive representation before respondent no. 5 and in turn respondent no. 5 be directed to consider and decide the same at the earliest within specified time frame. 3. Learned counsel for the State submits that in view of limited prayer made by learned counsel for petitioner, he is having no objection. 4. On due consideration of submission made by learned counsel for the petitioner and nature of grievance raised in this writ petition particularly the prayer made for correction in service record with regard to subject, 3 / 3 I find it appropriate to dispose of this writ petition at this stage, permitting petitioner to submit fresh comprehensive representation along with all supporting documents before respondent no. 5 and if such representation is submitted respondent no. 5 shall consider and take decision on the same, in accordance with law expeditiously, preferably, within a further period of ‘three months’ from the date of receipt of representaiton.
