1. The petitioner’s application seeking new electricity connection is being rejected on repeated occasions with the observation that all documents have not been filed at the time of making the application.
2. It has been categorically submitted by the learned advocate for the petitioner that all documents required for
consideration of his application are annexed with the writ petition. The entire copy of the sale agreement is annexed from pages 15 to 28 of the writ petition.
3. Prayer has been made to direct the respondents to consider the application made by the petitioner.
4. Learned advocate representing the Electricity Department submits, upon instruction, that incomplete sale agreement has been submitted by the petitioner. Pages 5 and 6 of the sale agreement were not submitted before the authority.
5. It appears from the documents annexed to the writ petition that the petitioner approached the Court on an earlier

occasion by filing a writ petition being WPA/473/2025 which stood disposed of on 03.11.2025 by noticing the remark of rejection of the petitioner’s application and by directing the petitioner to file a fresh application in the prescribed format along with all necessary documents.
6. As the learned advocate for the petitioner asserts that all documents required for consideration of the application are annexed to the writ petition, accordingly, the competent authority of the Electricity Department is directed to take into
consideration the documents annexed to the writ petition for the purpose of considering the petitioner’s application seeking fresh electricity connection.
7. Apart from the documents, which are already annexed to the petition, if any further documents are required, the same shall be made known to the petitioner.
8. A decision upon consideration of all relevant documents shall be taken at the earliest but positively within a period of four weeks from date. The fate of the petitioner’s application shall be made known to her.
9. The writ petition stands disposed of. There shall be no
order as to costs.
10. All parties are directed to act on a server copy of this
order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
