The petitioner has filed the present petition under Section 482 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023/438 of Cr.P.C. with a prayer to grant anticipatory bail to him in case FIR No.164 dated 06.06.2026, registered under Sections 109, 351(2), 351(3), 191(3), 190 of BNS (corresponding Sections 307, 148, 149, 506 of IPC) and Sections 25, 54, 59 of Arms Act, at Police Station Beas, District Amritsar (Annexure P-1).

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in compliance of the order dated 27.07.2026 passed by this Court, the petitioner has joined the investigation.

Short reply by way of an affidavit of Deputy Superintendent of Police, Sub-Division, Baba Bakala Sahib, Amritsar (Rural) has been filed on behalf of the respondent-State in Court today and the same is taken on record. Learned State counsel has submitted that the petitioner has joined the investigation and is no longer required for further investigation. 4. In view of the statement made by learned counsel for the parties, the present petition is allowed and the interim order dated 27.07.2026, passed by this Court is made absolute. The petitioner shall continue to join investigation, as and when called by the Investigating Officer and shall also abide by the conditions as provided under Section 482(2) of the BNSS.
