It is on record that on 20.06.2024, the learned counsel for the Page No.# 2/2 petitioner as well as Mr. B Choudhury, learned counsel for the respondents submitted that the grievance of the petitioner is under active consideration and that the required documents have been sent to the Accountant General to complete the process. Accordingly, the matter was adjourned. When the matter is called today, none appears for the petitioner. However, Mr. Choudhury submits that the order has been complied with. Under an order dated 24.01.2025, the Director has sanctioned an amount not exceeding Rs. 15,682/- to the petitioner. He has also produced an order dated 14.10.2024 issued under the signature of Sr. Accounts Officer, Office of the Accountant General (A&R), Assam, which goes to show that final withdrawal of GPF has also been done. In view of the aforesaid, the contempt petition stands closed. The order dated 24.01.2025 and the communication dated 22.10.2024 are kept on record. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
