The petitioners seek for auto rickshaw permit. Since the said applications have not been considered, the petitioners have filed these writ petitions. 3. Mr.M. Sivavarthanan, learned Government Counsel, accepts notice on behalf of the respondent in all the cases. 4. No prejudice would be caused to the respondent if the petitioner9s' application dated 04.05.2026, as stated supra, is considered on merits and in accordance with law after giving due consideration to the supporting documents produced by the petitioners within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner9s application. 5. For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the respondent to pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner9s' application dated 04.05.2026 seeking for grant of auto rickshaw permit in his favour to operate the vehicle within the radius of 30 kms. from Salem Town Old Bus Stand, Salem, Salem District, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.
