By this application filed under Section 482 of the BNSS, 2023 the Page No.# 2/2 petitioner, namely, Pushpa Bora, has prayed for pre-arrest bail in connection with Kaki P.S. Case No. 06/2026 under Section 61(2)/75/76/109(1) of BNS, 2023. 3. The petitioner is stated to be the father-in-law of the informant/victim girl who was married to the petitioner's son. 4. The gist of the allegation in the FIR is about the husband neglecting her with regard to another relationship and thereafter, subjected to her cruelty and harassment. It is also alleged that her father-in-law/petitioner have also sexually abused her. 5. The case diary has been received. 6. It is submitted by the prosecution by referring to the statement of the victim recorded before the Magistrate that she has supported the serious allegation made by her against her father-in-law/petitioner through the said statement. The investigation is in progress. 7. In view of the incriminating materials emerged, I am of the considered view that the petitioner may not be deserving of anticipatory bail at this stage.
