The learned advocate representing the petitioner/plaintiff submits that the application under Section 7 (2) has been filed on behalf of the opposite party/defendant on 27.06.2025 and till date the said application has not been disposed. 2. As such, seeks for expeditious disposal of the petition under Section 7(2) of the West Bengal Premises Tenancy Act, 1997 (hereinafter referred to as the WBPT Act, 1997) and prayed for expeditious disposal of the said application. 3. An information slip has been furnished today by the learned advocate representing the petitioner wherefrom it reveals that the hearing of the petition under 2 Section 7(2) of the WBPT Act, 1997 has been fixed on 12.08.2026. 4. Considering the submission of the learned advocate and after perusal of the information slip, this Court requests the learned Trial Judge that is Civil Judge, Junior Division, Jalpaiguri, to dispose of the application under Section 7(2) of the WBPT Act, 1997, as early as possible without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties. 5. As such, the civil revision being C.O.135 of 2026 is disposed of. 6. Urgent certified copy of the order be supplied to the parties if applied, upon completion of all required formalities.
