……Petitioner. Mr. Surajit Basu Ms. Jesika Alam
.....for the Petitioner. Mr. Samim Ahammed Mr. Asif Ikbal Baidya
.....for the De-facto complainant. Mr. Pinaki Bhattacharyya Mr. Amartya Mohan Bhattacharyya
……for the State.
Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that petitioner was arrested on 18.02.2026 and since then he is in custody. He is innocent and has been falsely implicated in the present case. Petitioner further submits of being framed in the present case at the behest of the de-facto complainant and the police authorities. Learned advocate appearing for the de-facto complainant is present and opposes the prayer for bail. Learned advocate appearing for the State has produced the Case Diary. I have taken into account the materials which are presently appearing in the present case, so far as the Case Diary is concerned.
2 I find that prima facie, number of materials were recovered pursuant to leading statement of the present petitioner which will be reflected from the charge-sheet itself. Having considered the stage of the case and the post-mortem report which is available, considering the gravity of the offence, at this stage, I am not inclined to release the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner in CRM (M) 1731 of 2026 is rejected. All parties shall act in terms of server copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
