VIBHU BAKHRU, CHIEF JUSTICE) 1. The complainant has filed the present complaint alleging willful disobedience of the order dated 24.06.2025 passed by the learned Single Judge of this Court in Writ Petition No.8587/2024 (LB-RES). In terms of the said order, the accused - the Commissioner of the Municipality Ullal, Mangaluru was directed to - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:21206-DB CCC No. 1343 of 2025 consider the complainant's representations. The representation was regarding non payment of dues claimed by the complainant. 2. The accused has filed a reply affirming that the issue regarding non payment of dues to the complainant was examined. A sum of `48,33,862/- was required to be paid to the complainant. As against the said sum, an amount of `31,75,370/- has been paid as on 18.02.2026 and the balance amount of `16,58,492/- is outstanding and payable. 3. The learned counsel for the accused submits that payment would be made shortly. Since the representation of the complainant has been considered, no proceedings under Contempt of Courts Act, 1971, are required to be initiated. The complaint is accordingly closed. 4. We clarify that this order would not preclude the complainant from availing other remedies, in the event, the complainant has any grievance regarding the amount determined or the delay in paying the same in regard to the decision of the accused regarding the amounts payable and the manner in which the same are discharged. - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:21206-DB CCC No. 1343 of 2025 5.
