Mr. Das, learned Advocate appearing for the petitioners, submits that the present case has been initiated only to counter a case lodged by the petitioners against the complainant and his men, which was registered as KGP(T) P.S. Case No. 496/25 dated 02.11.2025, the present case has been initiated. He submits that the present petitioners have been falsely implicated in this case out of personal grudge. He prays for pre-arrest bail of the petitioners. 2. Mr. Banerjee, learned Additional Public Prosecutor produces the case diary opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail. 3. Heard the learned Advocates appearing for the respective parties and perused the case diary and other materials on record, including the injury report and the statements of the witnesses recorded under Sections 180 and 183 of the BNSS, respectively. Taking note of the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the nature of the injuries, as well as the fact that the incident occurred in the presence of direct evidence, I am of the view that custodial interrogation of the 2 present petitioners is not necessary and that the privilege under Section 482 of the BNSS can be extended in favour of the petitioners. 4. In view of the above, the prayer for anticipatory bail is allowed. 5. Accordingly, I direct that, in the event of arrest, the petitioners, viz. (1) Vijoy Kumar Panda @ Bijay Kumar Panda, (2) Pradip @ Amal Kioshore Verma and (3) Deepak Kumar Singh @ Kalu released on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs.10,000/- each, with two sureties of like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Kharagpur, Paschim Medinipur and also subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 482(2) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 and on further condition petitioners shall meet the investigating officer once in a week till the submission of charge-sheet. 6.
