He was transferred from Haridwar to District Chamoli by Commissioner, Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs vide order dated 10.06.2025. Feeling aggrieved by his transfer, petitioner approached this Court. 3. This Court is not inclined to interfere with the impugned transfer order. 4. Transfer is an incidence of service, and a government servant holding transferable post cannot validly raise grievance against his/her transfer unless the transfer is actuated with malice or is passed in infraction of statutory provisions. 5. Perusal of the impugned order reveals that petitioner was transferred on the recommendation of duly constituted Transfer Committee. The transfer order is passed strictly as per provisions of Transfer Act, 2026:UHC:1258 2017. 6. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has been transferred with a view to victimize him and his salary for the month of May, 2025 was also withheld, even though he discharged duties at Haridwar during the said period. 7. While rejecting the challenge thrown to the transfer order, this Court permits the petitioner to make representation regarding unpaid salary for the month of May, 2025. If he makes representation regarding unpaid salary within ten days from today, decision thereupon shall be taken, as per law, within six weeks thereafter. 8. With the aforesaid direction, writ petition stands disposed of.
