1. Feeling aggrieved against the alleged inaction on the part of respondent authorities, petitioner has approached this Court by way of instant Criminal Writ Petition under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of appropriate directions to the official respondents No.2 to 6 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner, his family and petrol pump employees, at the hands of respondent No.7.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has already submitted a representation dated 29.08.2026 (Annexure P-2) to the Senior Superintendent of Police, District Mansa and he shall be satisfied in case respondent No.3 is directed to look into the matter and take appropriate steps, in accordance with law.

In view of the limited prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioner and without expressing anything on the merits of the case, the present petition is allowed with a direction to respondent No.3- Senior Superintendent of Police, District Mansa, to look into the matter and take appropriate action within two weeks, in accordance with law.
