The alleged contemnor no.2, Shri Surendra Gupta, the Principal Secretary, Government of West Bengal, Department of Land and Land Reforms is present in court. 3. Mr. Billwadal Bhattacharyya, learned Additional Advocate General representing the alleged contemnor no.2 submits that already in compliance to the order of this court arbitrator has been appointed vide letter dated 14th August, 2026 of the Deputy Secretary to the Government of West Bengal, Department of Land and Land Reforms and Refugee Relief and Rehabilitation. Therefore, since the order has been complied with, nothing remains to be further decided in the contempt application. 4. Mr. Avinash Kankani, learned advocate for the applicant-petitioner concedes to such submissions. 5. From letter dated 14th August, 2026 (Annexure R-5) to the affidavit of compliance, it is found that Divisional Commissioner, Presidency Division has been nominated as arbitrator to take up the arbitration proceeding. 6. In view of above and the submissions made on behalf of the respective parties, the contempt application being WPCRC 191 of 2026 stands disposed of. 7. Rule is discharged. 8.
