The present writ petition has been filed praying for a writ of mandamus commanding respondent No. 4, i.e. Chief Education Officer, Haridwar to approve salary of regular principal of Chaudhary Bharat Singh D.A.V. Inter College, Jhabrera Town, Haridwar in favour of the petitioner w.e.f. 01.04.2014 onwards. 2. The case of the petitioner is that he has been holding the charge of officiating Principal of the Institution w.e.f. 01.04.2014 and, therefore, in terms of the judgment of this Court in WPSB No. 55 of 2011 titled as ‘Kanti Prasad Dadpuri and three others vs. State of Uttarakhand and others’ dated 20.06.2012, he is entitled to salary for the post of Principal. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the representation of the petitioner dated 09.03.2025, made in this regard, is still pending before respondent No. 4 and he may be directed to decide the same. 4. Learned Additional Advocate General has no objection to the same. 2026:UHC:3098-DB 2 5. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No. 4 to decide the representation of the petitioner dated 09.03.2025 by speaking order within six weeks from the date of presentation of a copy of the instant order, along with a copy of the representation. 6.
