The present writ petition has been filed for the following reliefs:- 2026:JHHC:1586 3 W.P.(C) No.7749 of 2025 “1. For the issuance of an appropriate writ(s)/order(s)/direction(s), particularly a writ in the nature of Mandamus, Commanding the State Respondents, particularly the Deputy Commissioner and Superintendent of Police, Koderma (Respondents No. 3 & 4), to uphold, protect, and ensure the peaceful exercise of the petitioners' and the community's long-standing customary and fundamental right to conduct the annual Muharram Tazia procession and assembly on the traditional grounds at Khata No. 28, Plot No. 176, Mauza-Manjhladih, District Koderma. 2. Issuing a further writ in the nature of Prohibition or any other appropriate writ, restraining the Private Respondents (No. 7-9), their family members, associates, or any person acting on their behalf, from creating any manner of obstruction, interference, or hindrance to the peaceful ingress, assembly, and performance of rituals by the petitioners and other villagers on the said land during the period of the Muharram festival. 3. Further for Directing the State Respondents to formulate a permanent mechanism or issue standing orders to the local administration to ensure the peaceful and dispute-free conduct of this annual religious event in all subsequent years, to prevent the recurrence of such disputes. 4. Further to pass an ad-interim mandatory order, directing the Respondent authorities to immediately take all necessary steps, including deployment of adequate police force and issuance of necessary prohibitory orders against potential troublemakers, to facilitate the peaceful and unobstructed conduct of the Tazia procession for the upcoming Muharram festival during the pendency of this writ application.” 2. After some argument, learned counsel for the petitioners seeks permission to withdraw the present writ petition with a liberty to work out their remedy in accordance with law. 3.
