Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was arrested on 22.06.2025 and similarly placed accused person has already been granted bail, as such, petitioner be also released on bail. The subject matter of the present case relates to alleged recovery of 300 strips of Tapentadol and 120 bottles of wincerex cough syrup. Records of the case reflect that petitioner surrendered on 04.06.2026. Petitioner was evading the process of law for a considerable period of time. The recovery is of commercial quantity. As such, the prayer for bail of the petitioner in CRM(NDPS)1874 of 2026 is dismissed. 2 Memo of Evidence submitted by the State be kept with the record.
