And In the matter of : Samar Pal ……Petitioner. Mr. Angshuman Chakraborty Mr. S. S. Saha ……for the Petitioner. Ms. Arushi Rathore Ms. Pramita Banerjee ….for the State. Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that petitioner has been described to be a tenant in respect of a property wherein certain activities were being carried out and has been implicated in the present case. Petitioner is in custody from 04.12.2025 and there is no possibility of the trial being concluded in near future. As such, petitioner be released on bail. Learned advocate for the State has produced the case diary, drawn the attention of the Court to the relevant materials appearing. Reports reflect petitioner was 2 apprehended at the spot itself when activities were being carried out and two minor victims were recovered. Having considered the role of the present petitioner, I am of the opinion that this is not a fit case for granting bail. Accordingly, prayer for bail of the petitioner in CRM (M) 1739 of 2026 at this stage is rejected. All parties shall act in terms of server copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities. (Tirthankar Ghosh, J.)
