This is an application seeking to add the SBI Life Insurance Company Limited as a party to the writ- petition. 2. The reason for seeking to add the SBI Life Insurance Company Limited as party to the emanates from the report filed by State Bank of India (SBI) on June 13, 2023. 3. On the prayer of Ms. Lala, learned Advocate, appearing for the petitioner, the reliefs as against the Bank itself have already been addressed. 4. In view thereof, I direct the petitioner to make an application in the nature of a representation before the insurance company for release of the outstanding amounts, if payable to the deceased employee, being the father of the petitioner herein. 5. If such an application is made, the SBI Life Insurance Company Limited will dispose of the same within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of the application. P a g e | 2 6. With the aforesaid direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs. CAN/1/2025 7. The application being CAN/1/2025 is also disposed of in terms of the order passed in the writ petition. 8.
