Also heard Mr. K.K. Parasar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State. 2. This application under Section 483 of BNSS, 2023 has been filed by the petitioner, namely, Ajgar Ali has prayed for bail in connection with Chandmari P.S Case No. 18/2026 registered under Sections 316(2)/318(2)/336(3)/3(5) of BNS, 2023. 3. The prosecution case is that one Sameer Mahanta on 04.02.2026 lodged an FIR at Chandmari Police Station inter-alia stating that he has taken a car bearing registration No. AS-02-AA- 8916 on lease from one Bandana Bora. In the FIR, it is alleged that on 26.11.2025, one Bikash Bora have taken the above vehicle on rent and on 29.11.2025, the GPS of the car stopped working and then the last location was tracked at Dimapur, Nagaland. As per the FIR, the mobile phone of the customer was found switch off. In the FIR, the informant also alleged that another customer namely, Ajgar Ali have taken on rent the same car and on 26.11.2025 with the help of GPS location he has also found GPS location of Ajgar Ali along Page No.# 3/4 with the GPS location of Bikash Bora. In the FIR, it is alleged that Ajgar Ali along with Bikash Bora had stolen the above vehicle. 4. The accused Ajgar Ali was arrested on 09.02.2026 and has spent about 50 days in custody. It appears that the petitioner was arrested on suspicion as his mobile location was approximately the same as that of the main accused Bikash Bora, who had taken away the vehicle from the complainant. 5. On perusal of the case diary, considering the length of detention, having also perused the objection filed by the I.O and the stage of the investigation, further detention of the petitioner may not be necessary. Accordingly, the prayer for bail is allowed. 6. Accordingly, the above-named petitioner is allowed to go on bail of Rs.50,000/- (Rupees Fifty Thousand) only with two sureties of the like amount subject to the satisfaction of the concerned learned court with following conditions: i) That the petitioner shall cooperate the investigation ; ii) That the petitioner shall not try to influence the witnesses in any manner; iii) That the petitioner shall not hamper or tamper with evidence. 7.
