1. The present Criminal Revisional application has been filed under Section 528 of BNSS, 2023 read with Sections 401/482 of the Cr.P.C., 1973 seeking an innocuous prayer for speedy disposal of the proceeding being G.R. Case No. 553/24, corresponding to H.P.C. P.S. Case No. 79/2024 dated 19.03.2024 under Sections 420/406/465/506/34 of the IPC, 1860 pending before the learned A.C.J.M. Kakdwip, South 24- Parganas.

The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State submits that in the present case, charge-sheet dated 11.04.2025 has been submitted before the jurisdictional Magistrate under Sections 420/506/34 of the IPC, 1860 against four accused persons. The last date fixed before the learned trial court was
05.03.2026.

In view of submissions made by the learned counsels for the parties and the prayer being innocuous as it is the fundamental right of the accused/complainant to speedy trial or speedy disposal of the criminal case derives from the constitution. There is no impediment to allow such prayer as none will prejudiced.
4. Accordingly, the criminal revision is disposed of with a direction to the learned trial court to expedite the proceeding and come to a logical conclusion as expeditiously as possible without granting unnecessary adjournment to the parties.
5. The Revisional application being CRR 2181 of 2025 stands disposed of. Connected applications, if any, are also, thus, disposed of.
6. Interim order, if any, stands vacated.
7. Let a copy of this order be sent to the learned trial court at once for information.
8. All parties shall act on the basis of the sever copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
