And In the matter of : Milan Maity ……Petitioner. Mr. Soumyadip Maity ……for the Petitioner. Mr. Rajdeep Biswas Mr. Arka Mukherjee ……for the State. Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits petitioner is in custody for 2 year and 1 month and till date there has been no progress in the trial of the case. State has submitted that 295 Kgs. of Ganja were recovered from the possession of the petitioner. Having considered the quantum of seizure in the present case, I am of the opinion that Section 37 of the NDPS Act is attracted. As such, prayer for bail of the petitioner in CRM (NDPS) 1853 of 2026 is dismissed. 2 Learned Trial Court is directed to expedite the process of trial. All parties shall act in terms of server copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities. (Tirthankar Ghosh, J.)
