... For the State.
Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that petitioner is an aged lady and mother-in-law of the deceased who has been foisted with the present criminal case arising out of matrimonial dispute. Learned Public Prosecutor appearing for the State, on the other hand, opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail and draws the attention of the Court to the statement of the brother of the deceased under Section 164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure as well as the doctor. It has been submitted that the pendrive has been certified wherein the deceased prior to her death, divulged regarding the incident of administration of poison at the instance of the inmates of the matrimonial home which includes the present petitioner.
2 Records reflect that marriage was solemnized four years prior to the date of the incident. Having considered the overall circumstances of the present case, I am of the opinion that this is not a fit case for granting anticipatory bail to the present petitioner. As such, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected. The application for anticipatory bail, being CRM (A) 2782 of 2026, is, thus, dismissed. All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
