The present petition has been filed under Section 482 of BNSS (corresponding Section 438 Cr.P.C.) for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.110 dated 08.06.2026, under Sections 305 and 3(5) of BNS with Section 317(2) of BNS having been added subsequently, registered at Police Station Ghuman, District Batala, Gurdaspur. 2. Vide order dated 20.07.2026, this Court while granting the concession of interim anticipatory bail directed the petitioner to join investigation. 3 Learned State counsel, on instructions from Investigating Officer submits that the petitioner has joined the investigation and his custodial interrogation is no longer required. 5. In view of above, the petition is allowed. The order dated 20.07.2026 granting interim anticipatory bail to the petitioner, is made absolute. However, the petitioner shall join the investigation as and when called upon to do so by the Investigating Agency and shall abide by the conditions of Section 482 of BNSS, 2023.
