1. Heard learned counsel representing the petitioner, Ms. Pratima N. Lakra, learned Central Government Standing Counsel for respondent nos.1 and 2 and Mr. Sameer Vashisht, learned Standing Counsel for respondent nos.3 and 4. 2. This public interest litigation petition raises certain issues relating to grant of compensation etc. to the families of the victims/survivors/next-kin of the terrorist attack etc. 3. The petitioner further asserted that victims of such incident and injured persons need to be given medical assistance and further certain concession may also be given to the survivors of victims/their kiths and This is a digitally signed order. kins/their family members in public employment. Accordingly, the prayer has been made to issue certain directions to the Government of NCT of Delhi. 4. Having regard to the averments made in the writ petition and taking into consideration the prayer clause in the writ petition, we are of the considered opinion that all the prayers made in the writ petition lie in the realm of the policy decision which primarily is the preserve and prerogative of the Government. 5. Accordingly, without making any observation as to the merits of the claim of the petitioner-organization as raised in this writ petition, we permit the petitioner to make a representation for redressal of the grievances raised herein to the appropriate authority of the State Government of Delhi as also Union of India within a fortnight, taking pleas, which may be available to the petitioner and enclosing all the documents on which the petitioner intends to rely upon. 6.
Once such representation is made, the same shall be attended to and an appropriate decision which may be warranted and permissible under law shall also be taken by the Authority concerned, with expedition. 7.
