The petitioners have requested respondent No.4 for grant of annual increment from 01.07.2017 till their retirement and 5th revised pay scale with effect from 01.04.2012, 6th revised pay scale with effect from 01.04.2018 and all other consequential benefits. 3. Despite submitting the representations, respondent No.4 has neither considered the same nor passed any order thereon. 4. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and the respondents. 5. Though notice has been served, there is no representation on behalf of respondent No.4. 6. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and perused the records. 7. The petitioners have submitted representations dated 11.11.2024 and 13.11.2024, produced at Annexures- R, R1 to R3, respectively, seeking grant of annual increments - 5 - HC-KAR CNR: KAHC010280972025 NC: 2026:KHC:46313 WP No. 12603 of 2025 from 01.07.2017 till the date of their retirement, the 5th Revised Pay Scale with effect from 01.04.2012, the 6th Revised Pay Scale with effect from 01.04.2018, and all other consequential benefits. 8. Despite receipt of the said representations, respondent No.4 has not considered the same or passed any order thereon. 9. Respondent No.4, being the competent authority, is duty-bound to consider the representations received and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law. Admittedly, no orders have been passed on the said representations. 10. In view of the above, I proceed to pass the following: ORDER i. The writ petition is allowed. ii. Respondent No.4 is directed to consider the representatives produced at Annexures - R, R1 to R3 and pass appropriate order in accordance with law within a period of one - 6 - HC-KAR CNR: KAHC010280972025 NC: 2026:KHC:46313 WP No. 12603 of 2025 month from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
