The petitioner is aggrieved by the action of the respondents in not releasing the payments for the works i.e., 1) Construction of CC drain from D.No:17-1-216-1 to D.No:17-1-248 in Venugopal Nagar 3rd Division under 4th Sachivalayam-Ananthapuramu Municipal Corporation vide Agreement No.96/2022-23 dated 17.12.2022 (M-Book Value of Rs.4,81,073/-); 2) Construction of CC drain from D.No:17-1-248 to D.No:17-1-250-1 in Venugopal Nagar 3rd Division under 4th Sachivalayam-Ananthapuramu Municipal Corporation vide Agreement No.94/2022-23 dated 17.12.2022 (M- Book Value of Rs 4,25,000/-). 2. The learned counsel further submits that the petitioner duly executed all the works and Quality Control certificate also issued, thereafter submitted final billsand the final bills were duly endorsed by the competent authority. A statement detailing the works executed by the petitioner was prepared, progress of the work was recorded in the M-book. However, in spite of the completion of all procedural formalities, the payment towards the completed works has not been released till date. 3. Heard the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner, the Learned Standing counsel for Respondent No.3 – Vengala Reddy. 4 HN,J. W.P.No. 11696 of 2026 Dated 22.06.2026 4. During the course of hearing, on written instructions, the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents does not dispute the submissions made by the petitioners with respect to the completion of the work undertaken and that the non-payment of bills is due to paucity of funds. 5. Considering the submissions, the concerned respondents are hereby directed to verify and release the payments due payable to the petitioners as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of eight (08) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.
