In view of the above, the petitioner is given liberty to file an application to the District Election Officer within a week from date and if any application is filed by the petitioner, the District Election Officer shall consider the application of the petitioner within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of the application and dispose of the same after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and pass a reasoned and speaking order. 3.
