Vishal Kumar Mr. Sanjib Das … for the State-respondent(s) Learned advocate for the petitioner submits that there has been alleged recovery of 1505 gm of brown sugar and the petitioner has been arrested only on the basis of statement of a co-accused. Learned advocate emphasized that no recovery has been made from the possession of the present petitioner. Learned advocate for the State submits that 2.357 kg of brown sugar had been recovery in the present case; the petitioner’s name initially appeared as few of the persons who fled away from the spot and there has been recovery from the other accused persons also. Learned 2 advocate added that the petitioner is thickly connected with the alleged offence. The petitioner has been arrested very recently on 21.07.2026 and the case was registered on 23.09.2025. The petitioner was evading the process of law. Having considered the same and the huge quantum of recovery, at this stage, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Hence, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is Rejected. Accordingly, CRM (NDPS) 1875 of 2026 is dismissed. Pending application(s), if any, is also disposed of.
