It is the petitioner’s case that her husband has completed more than 16 years of life sentence and is eligible for early release as per G.O.(Ms.)No.488, Home (Prison-IV) Department, dated 15.11.2021. She has made a representation dated 19.05.2026 seeking early release and the same is yet to be considered. 3. Learned counsel for the respondents accedes to the receipt of the representation and assures the Court that the same will be disposed in accordance with the applicable provisions, expeditiously. 4.
