This petition for pre-arrest bail is the first petition filed by the petitioner under Section 482 of ‘the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023’. It has been filed with regard to a case arising out of FIR No.294 dated 01.05.2025, Police Station Hansi City, District Hansi, for the commission of offence punishable under Sections 109(1), 190, 191(2), 191(3), 111(3), 61(B) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023/Sections 307, 149, 147, 148, 120-B of Indian Penal Code and under Section 25 of Arms Act. 2. This Court, vide order dated 14.08.2026, had directed the petitioner to appear before the Investigating Officer and join investigation and in the event of their arrest, he was ordered to be released on interim bail to the satisfaction of the Investigating/Arresting Officer, subject to the conditions envisaged under Section 482(2) of the BNSS (erstwhile Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.). Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in compliance of the order of this Court, the petitioner has joined and cooperated with the investigation on 19.08.2026. 4. Learned State counsel states on instructions from SI- Joginder Kumar, that the petitioner has joined the investigation and is not required for custodial interrogation. 5. In view of the statement made by learned State counsel, the petition is allowed and the interim order dated 14.08.2026 is made absolute. The petitioner shall continue to join investigation, as and when called by the Investigating Officer and shall also abide by the conditions as provided under Section 482(2) of the BNSS.
