ORAL ORDER
This Criminal Revision Petition is filed by the petitioner under Section 442 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, challenging the order dated 12.01.2026 passed in Crl.Mis.No.211/2023 by the learned Principal Judge, Family Court, Tumakuru, whereby the petition filed by the respondent under Section 125 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (for short, “Cr.P.C.”) was allowed in part and the petitioner was
directed to pay maintenance of Rs.8,000/- per month to the respondent herein. Being aggrieved by the impugned order, the petitioner has filed this revision petition.
2. The Office has raised an objection as to the maintainability of the petition against the impugned order, contending that the petitioner has to prefer a Revision Petition (Family Court).

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the Criminal Revision Petition may be converted into a Revision Petition (Family Court).
